All lessons are pre-paid. I send out invoices on the 1st of every month for my regularly-scheduled students, and expect them to pay for the entire month before their first lesson of the month starts (please talk to me if my payment structure is problematic for you).
As someone with invisible disabilities (hEDS & MCAS) who experiences chronic pain and frequent illness, Jill sometimes needs to reschedule her lessons on the day of, and she very much appreciates her understanding students for their patience with her. And since Jill attracts other hyper-mobile and chronically-ill students, she is forgiving if they wake up and honestly feel too sick to meet, and will agree to schedule a makeup lesson.
However, if you miss your scheduled lesson without notifying Jill before your start time, and it’s not illness-related or an emergency situation, you will forfeit your lesson fee.
Jill reserves the right to decide when she will offer a makeup lesson for exceptional circumstances. If offered, your makeup lesson must be used within 120 days of your same-day cancellation, or you will forfeit your payment for the missed lesson (although Jill has never yet let this happen).
